History
History
Charlie Wilson was born prematurely - 10 weeks early, and from the minute he was born he captured people's hearts. From sitters to teachers, friends to people that just met him; he makes people think about why he is so happy for all his problems and pain when they aren't. Everyday means the world to Charlie, there is always something to be happy and to smile about, and smile he does.

Charlie is always ready to get up and go every morning, no matter how bad his night has been. Mostly because he loves people. He loves the high 5 or the hello he might get in the hallways at work. Charlie also respects the duty of school or job; his mother has to beg to keep him home when he is sick, because he doesn't want to miss his obligations.

Charlie's parents raised him to be independent. Little did they know how independent he wanted to become, until he made the statement "Would you want to live with your parents when you're 21?" This started the house plans. Mike & Patty were dedicated to keeping that smile on their sons face. They realized that others like Charlie also wanted the same thing. Knowing the shortage for accessible living in Lincoln, they decided to build a home that will always house young adults with disabilities. Thus, Charlie M. Wilson Replacement Care Home, Inc. was formed.
